The location of the samadhi (tomb) of the 17th-century saint RaghavendraTirtha a prominent figure in the Madhva tradition, is said as "Jivanmukti" (liberation while still alive) at Mantralayam. His samadhi, is located there and is considered self-manifested of Raghavendra Swamiwith a belief that his body never decayed despite being buried for over 300 years.
