Mettupetty Lake is a perennial lake which never dries up even in the summers, while swelling to its maximum capacity in the monsoon when the rains add to its volume the dam has a total height of 85.34 metres.   Mattupetty Dam has 3 radial spillway gates. 12klmtrs away from Munnar need 40mnts to reach required 1hrs to see the place. 2. ECHO POINT 

ECHO POINT Go there and scream as loud as you can and wait for a Few seconds. You can hear your echo back, you can indulge in a peaceful walk around the gentle slopes of the hills here, or you can go for boating in the lake.  Its located 17klmtrs away from Munnar city need 45mnts to reach & required 2hrs to see the place.  Visiting time: 7AM TO 6PM.

3. ERAVAKULAM NATIONAL PARK 

ERAVAKULAM NATIONAL PARK this is also the land of "Neelakurinji", a flower that blooms once in twelve years. The Park is breathtakingly beautiful with the highest peak south of the Himalayas.  Located 8Klmntrs away from Munnar city need 30mnts to reach & required 2hrs to see the place. Visiting time: 8AM TO 4.30PM.

4. FOREST ROSE GARDEN

 FOREST ROSE GARDEN this famous garden is an impressiverose garden with a variety of flowers. Being treasured with ample ranges of flowers is a must visiting place during Munnar trip or on the way to visit the national park.  Located at 2 km away from Munnar need 15mnts to reach & required 1hr to see the place. 5. LAKKOM WATERFALLS

 The Lakkam waterfalls one of the main tributaries of Pampar River. The Lakkam waterfalls even if having a lower heights will bring an amazing view to make the area ideal for swimming for the tourists due to the formation of a natural pool puckered in a complete privacy.  Located 25 kms away from Munnar need 1hr to reach, & required 2hrs to see the place. 6. ATTUKADU WATERFALLS

ATTUKADU WATERFALLS this is a scenic waterfall that lies 2 kms away from the town of Munnar. This is the most visiting site for the tourists to find some lucrative and romantic escapes along with the wildlife longings. 7. TEA MUSEAM 

The tea estate is owned by Kannan Devan Hills Plantations Company. You must visit the tea museum in Munnar, from the Tea Museum gives a good knowledge about tea processing and the operations that go into the making different types of tea.
